Nicci Kobritz, R.N., N.P., who founded and owns Youthful Aging Home Health Care, has more than three decades of experience in developing and managing health care services. She has served clients in Sarasota County for more than 15 years.
Nicci graduated from the Upstate Medical University of the State University of New York at Syracuse with a degree in nursing and completed her nurse practitioner degree at the University of Maine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in health care administration at St. Joseph’s College in Maine.
In Maine, Nicci founded the expanded Child Health Services, a rural pediatric clinic for low-income families. The American Academy of Pediatrics selected it as a national model. She then developed a state model for hospital-based child abuse and neglect programs. Nicci served in Maine Gov. John R. McKernan’s cabinet, providing and regulating services in the health care industry for children and adolescents.
Active in community affairs, Nicci was recognized as a role model for young women when she was honored in 2001 with the “She Knows Where She’s Going” award by Girls, Inc. of Sarasota County.
She chaired the health care industry unit of the United Way of Sarasota County.
Nicci writes for Home Health Care Management & Practice, an industry journal.

Laani Brackett, R.N., B.S.N.
Director of Nursing
Laani Brackett, R.N., B.S.N. has more than a decade of experience in home health care nursing. Her nursing career includes direct care and charge nurse experience in cardiac care in both hospital and physician practice settings. She is a certified trainer in Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.
Laani earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Florida State University following nursing studies at the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Drew University.

Lori L. Brosseau, L.P.N.
Nursing Instructor
Lori L. Brosseau, L.P.N. provides ongoing education and training of caregivers throughout the Youthful Aging organization, serves as an assistant to our director of nursing, and completes individualized, onsite orientations with newly assigned caregivers to meet each client’s unique needs.
In addition to her licensed practical nurse diploma, Lori earned an Associate Degree in General Psychology from Manatee Community College. She is currently studying for her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development at Eckerd College.
Before joining Youthful Aging in early 2008, Lori worked for six years in nursing care and administrative positions in home health agency, skilled nursing home and hospital settings. She holds a core assisted living administrator certification.
Medical Directors
Brad S. Lerner, M.D.
Brad S. Lerner, M.D., a principal of LernerCohen Healthcare, Sarasota’s premier concierge medical practice, is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Lerner completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor’s degree in biological chemistry. He earned his medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Lerner completed his internal medicine internship and residency at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
In 1994, Dr. Lerner created Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s only primary care group, later to be named First Physicians Group. He served as chief medical administrative officer from its inception until September 2005. Dr. Lerner led 50 physicians and 250 employees, working closely with the administration and board of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, while maintaining his practice of internal medicine. He served as chief of the Medical Section at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and was a member of its Medical Executive Committee for many years.
In 2005, Dr. Lerner left First Physicians Group to join his longtime friend and colleague, Louis Cohen, M.D., in the creation of LernerCohen Healthcare, The Concierge Medical Practice, with a strong emphasis on wellness, prevention, and providing a level of access and care that is unsurpassed.
Bernard Feinberg, M.D.
Bernard Feinberg, M.D., a board-certified internist, is the medical director of Youthful Aging Home Health Care’s Youthful Aging Service at Kobernick House, Sarasota’s premier retirement community.
A graduate of Meharry Medical College, Dr. Feinberg completed his internship and residency at Vanderbilt University Hospital.
A member of the Sarasota Memorial’s medical staff since 1991, Dr. Feinberg was elected its chief of staff in 2004. He was named the 2005 “Physician of the Year,” chosen by his peers from the hospital’s more than 700 physicians.
From 2006 to 2007, Dr. Feinberg served as chief medical officer for Sarasota Memorial Health Care System.
Clinical Specialist
Vladimir Einisman, M.D., C.M.D.
Vladimir Einisman, M.D., who specializes in geriatric psychiatry, is a clinical specialist with Youthful Aging Home Health Care. He is a certified medical director by the American Association of Medical Directors of Long-Term Care.
He has served as a medical director of psychiatric services for assisted living facilities, hospitals, outpatient programs and nursing homes, and as a consultant to health services, retirement communities and pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Einisman completed his medical degree studies at the University of Pernbambuco School of Medicine in Brazil, and the University of Chile School of Medicine. He was an intern and resident at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the Texas Research Institute of Mental Sciences.
Jack Wexler, M.D.
A Post Humerus Recognition Author of Heart Friendly Exercises
Prior to Jack’s death, he introduced Heart Friendly Exercises to our company.
The exercises are especially designed to help the older adult maintain a program regardless of their level of their limitations. As a cardiologist, he was a strong believer in exercise regardless of your age. Jack Wexler was Board Certified in both cardiology and Internal Medicine. He was a former physician to Johns Hopkins Hospital and consultant to Veterans’ Hospital in Fort Howard, Maryland. Dr. Wexler had also authored several articles published in leading medical journals.

Youthful Aging delivers client centered care to seniors living in Sarasota and Bradenton Florida. Our Registered Nurses working with our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's) and Companions deliver a proactive wellness services in addition to meeting the basic needs of our seniors. Our progressive approach to home health care enables greater independence for as long as possible.
